A B O U T | Whosabigayle

I am a South Asian-Guyanese artist was born and raised along the beautiful lakeshore of Mississauga, Ontario, where I devoted nearly my whole life to the Arts and Entertainment industry. My parents supported my passions and enrolled me in adult art classes throughout my youth as my skills advanced. I would later go on to major in visual arts through high school, achieving several awards and titles for my contribution to the arts community. I recently completed my BA in Media Production at Toronto Metropolitan University where I concentrated in TV & Film, but more specifically production design.

I found that creating sets, props and designing characters allowed me to perfectly combine my love for traditional arts and new found knowledge of the media industry

Experience is our greatest strength both as individuals and as artists I choose to let my emotions lead my life and feed my creativity which often results in more authentic, relatable and engaging content. Learning about and incorporating the experience of others makes good projects great.

Here is a quick look at the services I provide! I work both remote and in person and have an extensive tool kit for any project needs

Concept Art & Illustration

Working predominately in physical mediums (drawing, painting, sculpting etc.) I began to refine ideas into a digestible deliverable for project proposals. This includes, character design, scenery & set design sketches, story boarding and more

Digital Design

Using my skills in traditional mediums, I transfer to a digital canvas to design brands, products, props, print graphics and more. This includes 3D renderings, branding packages and designs ready for print.

Production Design

In conjunction with creating art for media, I also specialize in working on set within the art department of film projects. The key responsibilites include : working or leading a team through set up, construction and striking sets.
